LEGO® Icons Transformers Soundwave Set (10358)
Decepticons fans finally get a new addition to the LEGO Transformers line.
Soundwave – the classic villain – now arrives in LEGO Icons format. This build uses 1,505 pieces and stays true to the theme: full transformation from robot to cassette player without part removal.
A new twist: pressing the play button on Soundwave activates pre-recorded voice and sound effects. This marks the first time sound is integrated into a LEGO Transformers set.
Mini Cassettes Included
- Ravage – transforms into a cassette
- Laserbeak – also converts into cassette form
Both fit snugly inside Soundwave’s chest compartment, just like in the original G1 design.

Fully built, the model stands approx. 33cm tall, 23cm wide, and 10cm deep – giving it solid shelf presence. A good match alongside LEGO Icons Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

Personal Note
If you grew up with cassette decks and G1 Transformers, this one will probably make you smile. It doesn’t overdo anything — but the form, features, and nostalgia hit all land just right.
