In 2018, Bandai finally come out with their first Star Wars model kit with Human Face expression! The new technology they use to print the face expression is called Triaxial Jet Finish! *Triaxial Jet Finish:- Develop a special jig to control the printing into 3 directions. With this, it creates the shadowy feeling on the surface to recreate the feeling of skin and the facial expression is three-dimensional and vivid.

Bandai released the 1/2 scale Star Wars BB-8 model kit end of April'17 and Bandai Hobby team did an assembly on the kit. Let's see how does this large 1/2 scale BB-8 look like. 😀 The actual size of the 1/2 scale BB-8 is huge! Look at the 1/12 scale BB-8 beside it. The height of the 1/2 scale BB-8 is approximately 33.5cm!

Before the new Bandai Star Wars 1/72 Y-Wing set hits my store next week, let's check out another awesome 1/72 Y-Wing model kit from Findmolds. This model was built by Andy Moore. Beside using a fictitious colour scheme, he added some detail in the cockpit and scratch built steering vanes. You can see he've done a great job here, personally I like the tinted glass very much.
